- We tried out the new Black Magic Cocktail recipe from @theatomicgrog and it’s fabulous! This is a twist on their tribute recipe for the Mai Kai’s Black Magic, which is a super-sized coffee-based rum cocktail served with lots of ice in a 24 oz snifter glass. This version is smaller with the ice strained out, and we just might prefer it this way. We used Coruba for the dark Jamaican rum, Don Q 7 for the gold Spanish-style rum, and Lemon Hart 1804 for the dark rum.
