The hallway to the left of the Tonga room near the entrance to the kitchen was refurbished using wood salvaged from the demolished Bora Bora building, repurposed as the bottom molding. The tapa on the left is vintage, while the one on the right was purchased by The Mai-Kai from the daughter of a collector who acquired it before World War II.
